It should be clarified that this Regulation is without prejudice to Union law on copyright and related rights, including Directives 2001/29/EC((Directive 2001/29/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 May 2001 on the harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society (OJ L 167, 22.6.2001, p. 10).)), 2004/48/EC((Directive 2004/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the enforcement of intellectual property rights (OJ L 157, 30.4.2004, p. 45).)) and (EU) 2019/790((Directive (EU) 2019/790 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on copyright and related rights in the Digital Single Market and amending Directives 96/9/EC and 2001/29/EC (OJ L 130, 17.5.2019, p. 92).)) of the European Parliament and of the Council, which establish specific rules and procedures that should remain unaffected.
